Joomla Setup Tutorials

The tutorials on this page will guide you through the core steps for setting up a new Joomla website, or migrating an existing Joomla 1.0.x installation to a new Joomla 1.5.x installation. It is very important that you keep your Joomla installation and any plugins you have installed up to date at all times. Updates can include patches for both bug fixes and security issues that have been discovered, and not installing updates promptly upon their release could result in your website being compromised.
